"Le Bistro", the islands's first authentic French Restraunt, was somewhat tentatively opened in 1981. But the immense success with which it met within its very first year has never decliend. On the contrary, its ever-rising popularity with both residents and visitors have made it Antigua's most frequented restraunts. For "Le Bistro" constitutes the epitome in French cusine served impeccably in elegant tropical surroundings.
The current chef, Patrick Gauducheau hails from Vendee, the heart of France's finest gastronomic regions. His menus, changed twice a year, are highly creative and innovative, combining authentic French recipes with Caribbean traditions. Vegetarians will revel in the delicious selection of pastas and salads and there are also tempting daily specalties.
Naturally there is an excellent choice of French wines to accompany each course. Indeed, "Gourmet Magazine", The Discovery Channel's "Great Chefs of the World" and various Caribbean gastronomic guides have seen fit to recomment "Le Bistro" very highly.
We hope that you will also enjoy your evening with us.
